High Tech for Jack McDonald Oct 15th

Have you ever read about the things that go on in Washington DC, and think to yourself that some piece of legislation isn’t very helpful for those of us who work in the technology field, or are trying to start a business? Well, now we have a chance to send one of our own — an entrepreneur, a technology guy, a family man, a business man — to the U.S. Congress. You can check out his website at www.jackforcongress.com.

Join me, and the rest of the host committee: Amy Bryant, Amanda Chiampi, Sara Fox, Olga Garcia, Brett Hurt, Bryan Jones, Emily Miller, Mickey Millsap, Dave Shaw, Thom Singer, and Stacey Zuniga.

Tito’s Vodka is donating some drinks, so come have a cocktail with your friends in the technology industry and support a great candidate.

When: Thursday, October 15th
Where: Molotov Lounge, 719 W. Sixth Street
Cost: $10 campaign donation (http://tiny.cc/Jack4Congress)

If you’re so inclined, you can make a $100 donation for a special VIP reception for Jack, and we’ll contact you with details.

  • As an entrepreneur the last thing I want is help from the government. How about lower cap gains to encourage more long term investment and reducing government fees and taxes? That doesn't seem very likely from a democrat in a democrat controlled house/senate and white house. If anything we need to get back to two party (or more) rule in Washington.
