cf-logoIf you are an investor, a member of the press, or an entrepreneur, this is an event you will really want to attend. Demo Day is the culmination of Capital Factory’s 10 week business incubator program, and you will see demos from the 5 companies; Cubit Planning, Famigo, Hourville, PetsMD, and SpareFoot.

This event is invitation only, and if you’re on the list you received an invitation today. If you didn’t receive that, you can sign up for the waiting list.

One of the highlights of demo day will be the keynote speech by Mike Maples, Jr. He is known as one of the most savvy early stage investors in the country, investing in such companies as Bazaarvoice, Bside Entertainment, Digg, Hyper9, Twitter, SolarWinds, and Spiceworks. Mike will be talking about what it takes to be a thunderlizard startup CEO.

We will also have a panel discussion on the topic of what it takes to build a super startup in today’s economy. Panel members include locals Bill Wood and Rudy Garza, plus Satya Patel of Battery Ventures who was previously the Sr. Product Manager for AdSense, and Jim Armstrong from Clearstone who has worked with idealab, Austin Ventures, and was recognized as one of the top 50 venture capitalists in the US according to Forbes.

If you did not receive an invitation to this event, but are interested in attending, you can put your name on the waiting list. You can read more details in the full press release.
