TechRanch Branching Out to Cedar Park

Tech Ranch Austin today announced expansion of it’s programs into Cedar Park, Texas with the launch of Tech Ranch Cedar Park. Beginning June 24th, Tech Ranch Cedar Park will host a series entrepreneur support events focused on building community, increasing collaboration, and accelerating entrepreneurial activity in Cedar Park. The new program will also be supported by the new TechRanch incubator space, which now has over 5,000 square feet, on Rundberg Lane.

On June 24th at 6pm, business and technology leaders from across Central Texas will converge in Cedar Park to participate in the Entrepreneur Town Hall Meeting. This meeting format features a collaborative discussion among local entrepreneurs, business owners, executives, technologists, consultants, students and other interested citizens.

“The City of Cedar Park is home to many innovative high tech firms such as Corvalent, EEStor, Fallbrook Technologies, Integrated Bank Technology, and Mystic Pharmaceuticals” said Bob Lemon, Mayor, City of Cedar Park.  “This event will further our efforts to reach out and encourage the next generation of Cedar Park entrepreneurs.”

The event will feature key issues for the community:

  • Launching and growing our businesses in this challenging economic climate.
  • Ways to work together to make sure our city works for the best interests of our entrepreneurs.
  • Lessons learned from other local entrepreneurs on what is working, what isn’t and why.

This event is scheduled for June 24th, 6pm – 8pm, at the Austin Community College campus at 1555 Cypress Creek Rd, Cedar Park, TX 78613. While this event is free and open to the public, an online RSVP is required as seating is limited to 200. More information and registration can be found on the website or by calling 512-339-3242.

“There has never been a better time to start a new venture. While the overall economy is down, entrepreneurial ventures are going to drive the next wave of job growth and business success,” said Kevin Koym, Co-Founder of Tech Ranch. “I’m a fifth generation Texan, and there is no where else I would like to accelerate entrepreneurial success than right here in Cedar Park.”

Entrepreneurial Events Planned Throughout The Summer

Following the Town Hall Meeting, Tech Ranch will be coordinating a series of community building events. Currently planned activities include DemoCamp Cedar Park, Cedar-Tech Meetup, and Employee to Entrepreneur Training.
