Thanks for taking note of this major milestone.  It is amazing to think that when we started this company, there were about 5 retailers nationwide with customer reviews on their website.  I&#039;m including Amazon.com in that 5.  Now over 50 of the top 100 U.S. retailers offer customer reviews online.  And this trend is taking hold in Europe and Asia as well.

The next phase is for user-generated content in the U.S. is for it to be integrated into the fabric of multichannel marketing.  See these two Bazaarblog posts for recent moves in this direction by Wal-Mart and Best Buy:
